How to survive the 8th grade.

This entire year, in my opinion, was probably the worst year I have had here at AdVENTURE. I may not have portfolio's for the previous years, but I have been here since 5th grade. 8th grade, I knew that some people have talked about it being stressful, but I had NO IDEA that it would be to this level. This entire year has been nothing but stressful, if multiple projects stacked on top of each other wasn't stressful enough, if you don't find whatever you are doing even remotely fun or interesting, you are going to have the WORST time throughout the entire time you are doing the project. To survive this grade, would be impossible if you don't want to stress yourself out. I have legitimately had multiple moments this year of where I just wanted to stop everything that I was doing, I had a little bit of depression I guess you could say. I went to two different therapists, and they didn't help, they didn't help because, I didn't have depression, I didn't believe I did either. This year was THE WORST YEAR, so far, of my entire life. At least in my opinion.

There is a possibility that you could enjoy this year, i'm not sure how though, since I didn't enjoy this year. On this page I was supposed to put what I enjoyed, and what I didn't, which is somehow supposed to say how to survive the 8th grade? I don't get how that would help, especially if they come to my portfolio. Saying what we "enjoyed" throughout the year isn't going to help ANYONE who comes here next year, it's just spouting out your opinion of what you liked or didn't like during the year. Yes, that is exactly what I am doing right now, but still this wouldn't help anyone who comes here next year, because there is a BIG possibility that they either: 1, wont event do the same projects that we did. 2, If the person sees a project that they like in a SPECIFIC grade, there is a possibility that they would either have to wait one or two more years before they could actually do it. Or they just won't do the project in the first place.
